Iran and Syria have signed an agreement on military cooperation and reconstruction in the war-torn country.
According to Tasnim news agency, Iran’s Defence Minister Amir Hatami said defence and technical agreement provides for continued presence and participation of Iran in Syria.
Meanwhile, Iran, Russia and Turkey will hold a trilateral summit as part of Astana peace process over Syrian crisis in Iran on 7th of next month.
Turkish presidency said three countries have been mediating a peace process for Syrian crisis since 2016.
