The Chiniot police have arrested a man for uploading pictures and videos displaying guns on his social media account.

The Chenab police located his house and arrested him after one of his videos went viral. His pistol has been seized too.

The action was taken on the orders of DPO Syed Hasnain Asghar. A case has been registered too.

Last year, the police along with the Federal Investigation Agency launched a campaign to crackdown against the display of weapons on social media. The police said that they will arrest the suspects and block their social media accounts too.
